This is Me...and that's a goat!

Welcome to my first post! This IS me...and that, is in fact, a goat...not my goat, to be honest I didn't even catch her name, but hey she looked at the camera better than my kids did that day so she made it on the blog first!

Speaking of blogs, welcome to mine...Simply Hope! My name is Hope and the older I get the more and more I appreciate "SIMPLICITY" so there ya go! No big mystery behind that! This is really just my on-going story behind my days as a wife and a mother.

I'm the mom of three and the wife of one, he's a keeper so I'm pretty sure I'm done having husbands! I'm a lover of country music and if that offends you then we can't be friends in low places!

I wear my sunglasses like normal people wear their noses...I never leave home without them...if they're not on my face covering up my tired, puffy, Mombie eyes then they can be found on top of my head...they've become an extra appendage, basically yoga pants for my face!

I carry around a cup of coffee all day until it is timely acceptable to switch over to wine...unless it's my birthday, my anniversary or like Flag Day, you know, any special occasion that allows me to make the swap a teeny bit earlier!

I'm not a good cook, I stink at being girly, I struggle to be lady-like, when I do wear shoes it's either flip-flops or boots, nothing with laces so I may very well have forgotten how to tie my shoes, when asked what my favorite movie is I'll lie and say "Steel Magnolias" but in all reality it's "The Waterboy"! I'm my parents first try, my little sister is my best friend and I'm the aunt that not only teaches you the swear words but how to use them in the correct context, if you're gonna do it might as well do it right!

So that's me...Simply Hope.
